​Daniel Kriel of the Seattle Seawolves has been awarded the S. Marcus Calloway Community Impact Award by Major League Rugby (MLR) for his outstanding contributions on and off the field. Kriel, along with his wife Candice, founded the nonprofit Happy Bundles, which aims to bring joy to children battling cancer. In recognition of his efforts, Kriel received a $10,000 donation to Happy Bundles and a commemorative trophy. The award, named after the late S. Marcus Calloway, recognizes players who display excellence, integrity, and a commitment to community service. Kriel's dedication to his community and inspiring others has made him a deserving recipient of this esteemed recognition.
